That about sums it up...but I suppose I should say a bit more -

Human connection is sublime - and so I guess to possibly get connected 'you' might want to know more about me - though really by reading this you won't really - but nonetheless here goes -

I love to get outdoors as often as possible (walking, occasionally going for a run, hiking and camping), but I also love a good book, a cozy cafe or wine bar or living room. Hmmmm what else...a good live concert, plays etc. When I have time I like to get into my garden and dig in the dirt! I enjoy writing - good thing because, as a student, I spend a lot of time doing this!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE to travel - within and outside of Canada - do it as often as my budget allows. So far every place I've been is my favorite place - well except once I went to Las Vegas for 48 hours and that was the longest 48 hours of my life.

I'm currently working on a PhD and working as an educational consultant - both of which I enjoy - which is a good thing because they demand a lot of time and energy.

People have described me as embodying both the serious and the playful - I take my responsibilities as a citizen-activist seriously, but I think it is really important to enjoy the whole journey - to play and find joy - no matter how high the stakes or challenging the task.

While I'm not a musician myself (although both my children are!) I could not live without music - my tastes are pretty eclectic - I like most 'good' music (realize that is a pretty subjective thing!) with the exception of country music (Ok maybe some country-like music). Jazz is a particular favorite - but really - I don't think that any one genre of music appeals to me over any other - each has it's place in my heart/life!

Anyway...looking to share some fun, music, travel, or to just hang out with a nice guy.
