I love politics the way some men love sports. I like most kinds of music and have been a professional drummer most of my life. I have two grown daughters that I love very much and two ex-wives that well...

I enjoy old movies and comedy. I like people and enjoy conversation about many different things. I am very comforatble in a group setting talking and laughing but enjoy quiet Sundays with the morning "chat shows" and a great old movie.

Professionally I have been in upper management for several non-profit organizations including a stint in Los Angeles. I love writing and have one book of humorous essays in print and a second book recently completed.

I do a variety morning radio show that boasts that it is "old fashioned radio for a new generation." I still play music professionally part-time, but it is the radio show that I find the most fun and rewarding. I get to play a variety of music and comedy while featuring guest interviews each day that might be a symphony conductor or a high ranking elected official or someone who has an interesting job or project.

Lunch with time for a long conversation. Pizza is good for that but I'm partial to chilidogs.
