I strive everyday, to stay challenged, curious, and most of all honest with myself. I'm enjoying learning to learn, and sharing my good qualities with others. I feel lucky that I'm not driven by approval from others, or shallow pursuits. I'm youthful and youthful acting, while at the same time, grounded, and know how to blend the mix. Life is short, and I always have and will always enjoy friendships that are younger than I, and ones that are older. My compassion for others when I have earned their trust and theirs, is commitment. I choose friendships with very few, rather than entertain meaningless ones that have no depth. I like to think that I have strong role models, and feel lucky that I had good ones growing up. In some ways, not to seem too absorbed, but I don't think they make them like me anymore. I have the gift of being at a place that I know and feel the blend of old school and new, and I think I wear both hats very well. I am extremely private, because I've gotten used to deriving happiness from within without looking outside for it. This can obviously stifle other kinds of experiences which can be exhilarating. There is that saying, "quality over quantity".
