I just really like to be around the type of people that enjoy smiling and being happy about life. People that are interesting and that can make me laugh and also laugh at my jokes, or laugh at people unwittingly stepping into puddles.

I'm in school right now, working towards getting an associates degree to work as an occupational therapy assistant. If you're wondering what that is, here is my best description. You fix peoples busted up limbs or what have you so they can preform their job accordingly!

To be honest, I would rather be in an incredible, mind blowing, classic-esque rock band that melts faces and explodes ear drums on a nightly basis. Some dreams have to be put on the back burner for a while, but I haven't given up all hope yet. After all, I'm only 23.

Music is a big part of my life, I've been playing drums since I was 13 and it is definitely one of my biggest passions. I'm sort of trying to learn guitar too. I find it's kind of like making stew. It takes a long time to prepare, but when you finally get it, it's oh so delicious.

Classic rock, as hinted at earlier, is my favorite form of music. A few of my classic rock heroes include, but are not limited to, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, just to name a few. There is just something about sitting behind a kit and wailing away to your heart's content. It's infectious!

Walking around with no real destination in mind is something I enjoy. I have a black lab and he normally comes with me when I go. He's really great to have around, the only problem is, he hogs all the attention, he's kind of a whore that way, but I love him all the same.

I try to get out and do some volunteer work from time to time, when I can. I spent a year in Florida building houses with Habitat for Humanity, which was a real, eye-opening experience.

My main goal in life is to always appreciate those who appreciate me and to take care of them. Family and friends forever. Also always making improvements for myself. I like how I am now, but there are always aspects of life that could use improving. And of course, having fun, always. That and jumping out of a helicopter with my snowboard strapped on my feet and hopefully making it alive to the bottom of the mountain, that would be ideal.

As for the type of person I'm trying to get to know, all I really ask is that you just be yourself and don't put on an act. Sooner or later you will slip up and the real you will shine. For better or worse. Be able to laugh at yourself, acknowledge when you're wrong, don't insist you are right about everything and anything. I guess to sum it up, enjoy life.
