Hi, I'm a gentle, hard working, intelligent, affectionate Devon guy and I can't believe I'm doing this! I have 2 wonderful young children (a girl and a boy) who I look after full time. We've been living in Australia for the last year but due to family ties we have recently returned permanently to Devon, in the Torbay area. Anyway its great to have the moors on one side and the coast on the other, never mind the weather!

I'm very happy with my kids, but I also believe life is meant to share, and I'm sure there could be more to life if I could spend it with someone special.

We enjoy good times and outings together so it will help a lot if you like walks, picnics, friends, days at the beach, dogs, kids activities, that sort of thing. I also enjoy a variety of music, walking, swimming, and travelling - I've spent many years working abroad including a year at an orphanage in Thailand.

My kids keep me young, so please don't be put off by my age! I value kindness, gentleness, honesty, faithfulness, friendship, a sense of humour and enjoying sharing the simple things life has to offer. If you have these kind of qualities, I can offer you the same.

Would like to correspond with and later meet a kind lady for friendship at first with a possible view to a relationship and romance if things work out. Someone who I can trust and talk with as an equal and as a friend and maybe more. If you have kids of your own that's fine but you must be even tempered, a non-smoker, and live in South Devon.

I think a first date should be enjoyable, relaxed and fun - even with the kids around! (Yes, they really are with me full time!) An outdoor venue is preferable or even a country pub with a garden or play area so we can chat over a meal or cup of tea while they play. And, importantly, stress free and no strings attached - lets just have a good time - if it leads to something more, great, if not - its good to have friends.
