I am very involved in making my little corner of the world a better place through community activism. Because I am often required to speak, please understand that sometimes I prefer quiet times. Although I have VERY little contact with my own culture, I try to live a quiet life of Shibumi and Bushido (CHIVALRY), but my wabi-sabi more often tends to wind up as iki.

In my spare time I enjoy going out to cultural activities, art galleries and festivals, fine and ethnic foods (whether cooking or dining), cinema, art, and music. I'm conversant on a broad range of topics, not too shy to tackle delicate subjects and have the integrity to handle them confidentially and with understanding.


MY PERSONALITY: quiet but engaging when I need to be, spiritual, caring, compassionate, forgiving, kind, goal-oriented, visionary, sincere, creatively analytical, decisive, not easily angered, trusting, faithful, loyal, charitable, optimistic, not afraid of challenges, expressive, open/transparent, meek, honest, caring/nurturing, outgoing most of the time but reserved sometimes too, introspective, high morals/values/standards, kids love me.

I VALUE: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and sincerity. The type people I'm interested in hold these, and other values too. Shared VALUES are important, but you do NOT need to share my BELIEFS.

I'M NOT INTERESTED IN: "playas", deceptiveness, dishonesty, crassness, smokers, excessive tattoos (I prefer no tattoos, but a few tasteful ones are fine) or excessive piercings (again, tasteful ones are certainly fine), people who NEED to drink, party animals.

Anything that allows both parties to engage in healthy conversation can only promote better knowledge of the other person. Our first date doesn't need to be at a coffee shop (although it COULD be) because we've already talked and found out a bit about each other. By the first time we meet, we already know if we admire and respect each other.

I really love art, cultural exploration so hopefully you'd like to join me at Phoenix Art Museum or the Heard. We walk along, Share ideas, engage in friendly debate so we know we are not patronizing each other and that we have DEPTH of character and BREADTH of intellect. Then lunch or dinner in the museums cafe.
