Do you like to engage in silly banter while doing routine tasks, travel to places you've never been, learn something new and talk about it? I love being a mom, but there is more in my future than parenting..I'm looking for the man that feels like 'home'. Not a place, but a someone who has the insight and know-how to create with me the space in a relationship where we both feel seen, supported and accepted. Home is not a place, but a feeling.

I am fascinated by the chemistry of a great relationship. When I spend time with friends who have been married over 40 years and get each other, give each other space to be individuals and grow together through common interests and communication, I ask a lot of questions about what it takes to build that kind of love and maintain it. I feel like I have done all I need to do as a single person. So I would be ready in a heartbeat to explore a great relationship if it comes my way. Trust, respect, love, fun, honest, intimacy as well as patience, time and compromise.

If you are into hiking,gardening and/or have a pet its a big plus. I'm also have also studied and played music..details I'll share on a date. I shop at farmers market and often use my bike and caltrain to get to work because I prefer it to sitting in traffic. I think carefully if I need something or just want something before I purchase it. I like to engage in making changes to lighten my carbon footprint and be a better world citizen...but I still like to have fun and enjoy the pleasures of living.

I find that every decade I live, life just gets better. I work with some amazing women in their 20's and 30's, but I just have to smile when they tell me they have life all figured out! I wouldn't trade any of my years for their youth. Living life and not carrying regrets is an active process. Aging gracefully and practicing a healthy lifestyle doesn't just happen. But I think it might a easier and more interesting with some loving support.
