i'm a musician and a songwriter, currently fronting a rock band (vocals/guitar). if this band ends at some point i will have another. music will always be part of my life. i'm also a recording engineer though i keep a day job. the goal is to be successful enough with ether of these so i don't have to keep the day job anymore.

i spend the rest of my time riding my motorcycle, working out, and being social. i like people. i like tattoo art. oh, and dogs. love dogs. i spend time with friends laughing and carrying on in wherever we end up going. i work out/run at least 5 time per week and i'm looking for someone who's active like me and cares about being heathy. i'm into science and technology, not superstition. religion is a subset of superstition so, that too. i stay pretty informed and educated so i'm good for a thoughtful conversation about almost anything, so long as it's a thoughtful anything.

some more basics: i don't like smoking or drugs. this is non-negotiable.
i'm doing the pescetarian thing, for health reasons. i have opinions but i'm not a wacky protester. (i just added pescetarian to Firefox's dictionary)
i don't hate children but right now i don't want any of my own. maybe someday that'll change.
science and logic are a big deal to me. we could talk for hours about how examining evidence could save the world. hahaha (seriously)

i'm supposed to talk about my taste in music: i like most genres of music. it's really too difficult to describe properly. i don't like music that is inartistic. and part of my job is often listening to the same song for hours or days. it takes an unusual perspective so, i think, i hear music a little bit differently than most people.

a good first date is... going somewhere we can talk. probly some food, a nice-ish place and finish off with some drinks, at the same place or a different one. those seem to go well. anywhere we can talk a lot.
