I like to be active but also enjoy a quiet night at home : value professionalism but also love to relax and be silly: am equally comfortable in an evening gown and gym gear. In my life I have found myself wearing a business suit talking to a conference room full of 200 people, and also, in a pair of coveralls lying under a 78 Ford truck, drenched in transmission fluid. I don't have a problem with getting dirty or working hard, but like to think I clean up pretty well too.

I like to travel and just generally enjoy life. I'm extremely young at heart, and have been told I am fun to banter with and can definitely take a joke. Nature, learning new things, seeing new places and meeting new people are things that keep life interesting. I love to laugh, and value family, friends, peace, serenity, hard work and time for relaxation.

I play volleyball in a womens'league and co-ed league and have met many great friends and people. Beach volleyball is great fun too! In recent years I have run 3 half marathons and am currently working up to running the Historic Half in Fort Langley in February and Vancouver again in May 2010. I like to keep active but still appreciate my quiet evenings at home.

I love my job but value balance in life. A man who values working 24/7 on a regular basis is not a man for me. Work hard play hard is more in line with my philosophy. It is difficult to put any effort into personal relationships when you are exhausted from work and have little time left over.

Communication is something I put a lot of value on. Being open and direct is the only way to go: life is too short for drama or playing games. Tell it like it is and we will get along great!

I am very warm, affectionate and a bit of a romantic, and am looking for a man who possesses these same qualities. Charming, chivalrous and an ability to be a bit sophisticated at times would all be a bonus! Right now my life is full and rewarding, and I consider myself very lucky. I'm interested in dating, but would also be open to something long term with the right person.
