I’ve read that we’ve been searching for each other for some time, although this journey has taken us both a little longer than expected. I’ll be fairly brief, although I love to write and have even penned a children’s book, hoping one day to be published…looking for an illustrator, but that’s a story for a different day…

The question of what qualifies my ideal mate might have come up on more than one occasion from the choir of dear friendships I’ve cultivated through out the years. My hope is that you’re a wonderful mix of cleverness, playfulness, and intelligence. Like myself, I’m also drawn to those that possess confidence, strength, ambition, and drive. You won’t mind if our plan for Friday night is nothing more than a “go with the flow casual night” at one of our favorite spots. Another version might include opening the latest issue of bon appétit, and an incredible dish jumps off the page calling both are names - you pour the wine, I begin to create in the kitchen.

Taught long ago to respect your thoughts, feeling and opinions our conversations will flow freely. Always thought provoking, I’m truly interested in what you have to say. I’ll chat about issues that are dear to me and hope that you always tell me what’s on your mind as well. A favorite movie line comes to mind where Mia Wallace asks Vincent Vega before they go out one "their" date “do you listen, or do you wait to talk? “ I myself prefer to listen! (bonus points if you can name the movie that line comes from)

I enjoy life’s simple pleasures and I hope you do as well. Thoughtful almost to a fault, always the one remembering the little things, whether that be your favorite perfume or even how you take your coffee or tea.

Although far from perfect, this is the best version of me yet. My experiences from my past have taught me many important lessons I now live by. I’m affectionate, considerate of others and I live life with integrity, compassion and am always up for a little adventure. Trying to lead a somewhat healthy lifestyle these days by eating as wisely as I can, but not forgetting to leave a space for pizza and a cold beer now and again, which makes hitting the gym a few times a week all the more important. You should also know I enjoy my version of pan seared scallops, a fine red wine, grey goose chilled in a martini glass, motorcycle touring, home improvements, a lazy Sunday morning, my two lovely nieces, good barbeque, The Beatles, I’ll always be nice to our waiter, and every year I grow a cool veggie garden on my deck.
