I'm looking for a girl to share adventures with. Someone to hang out with, and get to know my friends and go on camping trips and to festivals and snowboarding and hiking, dancing, and snuggling up on the couch and watching movies. We like going to the Cooler for karaoke, then jump to John Henry's for 80's night on Thursdays (homework allowing), and try to make it to a rave once in a while.

I'm a little introverted, and tend to think that many of my thoughts are my own, but I can hold a conversation. What I do say tends to be either goofy, sweet, ironic, poignant, philosophical. I tend to communicate more with actions. After all, it was Plato that said you can learn more about someone in an hour of play than in a year of conversation.

I'm a pretty active person, but I can appreciate mindless TV and sleeping in too late once in a while.

I'll tell you right now that I'm a total dork. As if you couldn't tell, right? But I try to direct my dorkiness into things that are actually productive or creative. I'm going to LCC full time for Chemical Engineering. I'll go to OSU or maybe somewhere in Portland when I run out of cheap classes here. I like math and the sciences and have a knack for resourcefulness. Seriously, I'm MacGyver. I used to be really into fine arts like sax, singing and theatre, and was originally planning on making a career out of it. I still indulge once in a while, it's just not my main goal.

I'm what you might call a non-practicing agnostic. I believe in that which can be measured. I don't attack magic though. I'm spiritual in a sciency, pagany, pantheistic sort of way. I'm an understanding guy, I like existential debates and have friends of all kinds, but I don't do Holier-Than-Thou.

I listen to just about anything but most Country and Rap. Never could get into those, with a handful of exceptions. A few bands I like are Cake, Weezer, Daft Punk, Pink Floyd, Foo Fighters, Gorillas, The Crystal Method, The Doors, Zebrahead, Seether, Theory of a Deadman, Linkin Park, Sick Puppies, Coldplay, and Beats Antique.

I'm looking for a best friend/date/cuddle-buddy/study partner/adventuress for whom I don't have to change who I am. This doesn't mean I don't want a relationship, just that I'm not a project. I have been there. For now my number one priority is to get an education. I want to be self-sufficient, contribute to society, and eventually earn what I think should be the privilege to have children.

Oh, there are about 50 places in the instructions where it says not to put shirtless pics, but I'm not shirtless. My leather body straps are just cloth deficient. Besides, fauns don't wear shirts, and I'm a method actor. At least it's better than the one with just the loin cloth... ;)

BTW I'm growing out my hair so I'm a little scruffier than usual. I always wanted to try it. Pics soon.

Since this is the internet, and you probably think I'm a total weirdo by now, we should just meet in a populated, neutral location and gauge each others' reactions to comments about pop culture until we're sure we aren't freaks ;) Then we can go on some ridiculous adventure and make sushi and egg nog.
