I JUST turned 23 and have come to the realization that I am getting older at an alarming rate :/ I'm looking to settle down, but not with just anyone. I'm here for whatever I find. In any relationship, friendship comes first. So let's start there :)

I don't get on here often at all anymore. So if you're interested, take the initiative and write me. Otherwise we might just miss each other :(

Let me start off with saying I am a very simple yet very complex person. I am very laid back and very chill, I don't like drama or arguments. I am passive-aggressive, but I am not a doormat. I'm highly confident in saying I am different from most guys you're used to dealing with, as I take the utmost pride in keeping my word, and creating unforgettable relationships with those I care for. I am random. I believe in "paying it forward" and doing good deeds not only because I'm a firm believer in karma, but because that's just my nature. You'd be astonished how little effort it takes to make a difference in someones day. Just to smile, hold a door, or pull out a chair, goes a long way.

I am a family man. I believe when there is no one else you can count on, family will always be there for you. That's the way it should be. I have a son. I have custody of my son as well, so he does live with me. He is my world and nothing short of it. We have an amazing relationship and he is only 4. To imagine what the future holds gives me butterflies.

Overall, I get along with just about everyone. I can be intimidating at first but that's just until you warm up to me ;) I am 99.9% sarcastic, but I also know when to be serious. I have a rough edge to me. I'm adventurous and almost always full of energy. I cherish my sleep. I LOVE music. My ipod playlists consist of, 80's rock, rock, metal, r&b, some rap & hip hop. But I am always open to anything. Pearl Jam is my favorite, so don't dis them. If you dare, I will lock you in the car and Eddie (the lead singer) & I will sing to you until the car battery dies :)

F.Y.I. I am open towards meeting anyone of any background, but a BIG turn off for me is a female who feels the need to have a lot of self pics clearly taken to show off their body. I like a WOMAN with class. There are other ways to catch a guys attention. It's not JUST about physical attraction. I DO like to stay active with sports, hiking, etc, so I'd much prefer someone who enjoys the same.

Weaknesses = Country girls. Southern belles. Soft eyes and pretty smile. ACCENTS!! Confidence, not to be confused with arrogance. Polite yet feisty when the time is right. Athleticism is a MAJOR plus!!!

I DEF want to meet someone who wants to learn to snowboard with me. It would be an AMAZING get-a-way. Adventurism is a must!

First dates always take some planning, lol maybe not from a females perspective but as a guy, we usually are racking our brains on the matter. After all first impressions last a lifetime. I myself want it go to as smoothly as possible without any awkward silence. So I'd plan it in a social setting. That way neither person would feel pressured or uncomfortable. I would either choose the mall, a park, a diner, the boardwalk or the beach since where I live I am surrounded by water. It's a nice place to go to let go and relax.

As cliche as dinner and a movie is, I feel it's always an option. I'd have to do dinner first, or maybe coffee just to get SOME conversation in before an hour or two in the dark with you. But I think you should ALWAYS feel safe and comfortable with the other person whether it's your first time meeting them or your 5th. If not, that should be an immediate red flag. So conversation/communication is key. Unless they're really shy, but you should usually be able to break the ice with SOME kind of conversation. OoooOOooo wait, BOWLING!!! That would be great, who DOESN'T have a great time bowling?!?! Come on now lol.

I like a casual flow to the date. I want to feel like we hit things off, almost feeling like we had previously met. I would def keep you laughing and interested though and in turn of course, leading to a second date :)
