Hi,

I'm a genuine, simple (life is already complex enough), easy going, down-to-earth, family-oriented guy who is looking for his female counterpart.

I Love having a good laugh (keeps me young at heart!).
As such I do enjoy going to the comedy clubs and watching comedy specials.

I like to stay fit, so I play hockey all year 'round. I'm definitely not a sport couch potato, as I'd rather play it than watch it. But I do enjoy watching the odd playoff hockey game, boxing or UFC sometimes.

I also enjoy jogging and usually run a few 5km charity races per year (Breast-Cancer, Shepperds of good hope, etc..)

I enjoy playing the occasional round of golf as I enjoy the challenges it brings. There's always something in need of improvement which forces you to stay focused on what you are doing right/wrong.

This aligns well with my goal of constantly improving myself by trying/learning new things.

As an example, I started playing Bass Guitar last year to satisfy that long time dream of playing music and as a personal challenge. I don't think anything is impossible given enough time and motivation!

My music tastes are pretty broad, but I'm a rock guy at heart. But I enjoy most genre (except perhaps for country).

I enjoy riding my motorcycle and the occasional longer trip to visit cool places; as it's always an adventure on a motorcycle.

On the topic of travelling, I love the resorts and the beach but wouldn't mind visiting Europe/other part of the world at some point with the right person.

I love watching movies at home and sometime at the theatre. Comedy, action, drama, thriller, horror, love it all.

I've been told that I'm trusting, loyal, dependable, affectionate, and ponctual (some would perhaps say too much!).

I'm very goal oriented, and as such, always find a way to accomplish targets I set for myself. (hard headed? :) )

Ok, enough about me.

I'm looking for a woman that can strike a good balance between friendship, work, love and fitness. Life is all about balance (would you expect less from a Libra ;) )
I'm not interested in dating an exact copy of myself, and although having a few things in common is definitely a good thing to have, I prefer a girl with her own unique personality (including all the quirks).

I'd like to meet a girl that enjoy staying fit as much as I do. Nothing obssessive though. Just aiming to live a healthy life. It just makes me feel happy.

I'm fully bilingual but a girl that can speak and/or understand french would be a bonus. (but definitely not a requirement)

Drinks/coffee/tea would probably the best way to get to know each other.
But I'm flexible, as I love trying new things, so any cool activities would be great too (I always wanted to try one of those indoors rock climbing places or kayaking on the river/rideau canal). Anything competitive would be nice too.
