On any given day I might be:
-reading
-coaching youth sports
-at music rehearsal
-watching Jeopardy!
-gardening
-teaching
-eating ice cream
-singing one phrase of a song stuck in my head
I have my convictions, but when it comes to trying something outside of my realm, I'll give it a shot. I like to think that I've got what it takes to be good at anything with enough practice and time (higher math being the exception).
My friends say I'm outspoken, and while this is sometimes true, I've had to work at speaking up. I'm also content taking a backseat in conversations; I like to listen to what others are saying if it proves to be something I hadn't previously considered.

Talk and laugh. Probably beat you at a game of ping pong or mini-golf. I'll be nice, but I'd really like to win. Oh yes, and I'll get to know you while I'm at it.
