This online dating thing has never really worked for me but since I have gotten busier, I thought I would give it a try so here goes! :)

I was born in Taiwan, raised in Alaska and moved here to SD in 1984 after joining the Marines. After 8 years in, I worked for Sony, got my degree in computer science and am now a programmer.

I have a daughter who is 18 and lives with her mother in Carlsbad. I used to see her every weekend when she was younger. We would have breakfast or lunch and hang out. Now she is "busy" a lot of the time! Hmmm, I thought daddy was her best friend! :)

I won't list all of my likes and like to dos here as I find that I like very many things especially when I am with a fun person. But some of the things I like include: dinners in and out (yes I can cook), movies, museums, hiking, running, people watching while having a cup of coffee in the morning, music, concerts, 4 wheelin' the jeep, and much more!

Since we are meeting virtually, I find that going out for a cup of coffee or a drink is the best idea as it gives us a real chance to see if we 'click'. Other possibilities would be a nice hike at Torrey Pines, or perhaps a walk through Balboa park.
