Hi, I'm a very laid back, down to earth person looking for the same. I take life one day at a time and enjoy it to the fullest. I like movies (especially scary ones) I like being outside, except during the summer (I don't do well in the heat) :P I'm a little shy at first but once you get to know me, I open up pretty quickly. I have what has been described as a "unique" sense of humor; I try to see the funny side to just about any situation. I'm the type of person that if I trip and fall, I'll hop up and yell "ta-da!" :) I like playing pool and darts, I'm not really good at either but I still have fun. I enjoy bowling and I think Dave and Buster's is awesome! I like to try new things, I recently went to a Popcorn-play at The Pocket Sandwich Theatre and it was hilarious :) I'm probably the only guy that says he likes antiquing that actually does...I usually don't buy anything but I like looking. I like getting in the car and driving; sometimes I take trips where I don't really know where I'm going until I get there, you find some interesting things that way.

A little bit about me...I'm originally from Oklahoma (and I can read ) I moved to the Dallas area a little over 10 years ago. I have a Criminal Justice degree but I got a temporary job at an insurance company and liked it so much that I stayed. I'm a supervisor for 2 small teams; I take my job seriously but it doesn't rule my life.

What am I looking for in date? Sense of humor is important of course. I like to have "inside jokes" that only the 2 of us get. I have a job and I think you either should or be working towards one also. I don't like playing games or being with people that play them. I don't know the rules for the "when to call after the first date game". I believe that if we both had a good time, there's nothing wrong with scheduling another date right away. And I also think it's best to be honest and let the other person know that there wasn't a connection if that's the way the date went. I'm not a clingy person, I don't want to feel smothered and I won't smother you. I understand that we both need alone time or guy/girl time. I do like public displays of affection...I'm pretty touchy-feely. When/if we get to that point, I'll hold your hand or rub your back when we're out and about :)

I like to drive but if you're further away than what can be easily driven, you might want to look for someone a little closer.

A first date needs to be something fun and low-key where you can get to know the other person so a movie is out (unless the date goes longer than planned). A round of mini-golf or a trip to the bowling alley would be better. A trip to the local pub to play pool or darts would be fun also. A nice picnic lunch would be fun too :)
