ok let's try this again. i'm no good at this stuff but i've been reading a lot of profiles to get a feel for this internet dating stuff. on that note, if i look at your profile, it doesn't mean i don't want to talk. it would be nice for a woman to message a man every once in a while lol. i've also learned that this section is not necessarily supposed to be about you, but what you're looking for. so here goes....

i am looking to date, yes, but first and foremost, i'm trying to meet new people. i'm not the one night stand type of guy. so with that being said, if you're looking for a "good time" read no further and move on. i am a relationship type of guy (and aparently that seems to be a rare breed, by what i've been reading). i'm also not into rushing things, i've learned my lesson. i want to be able to have a conversation with someone.

I'm also very active and have a lot of energy. i'm looking for someone ACTIVE and ENERGETIC who just wants to have fun and get the most out of life. but i do also like to slow down and relax. i'm the type of person who is always go-go-go. it comes with the job lol. i love the outdoors, i'm not a fan of sitting inside on a beautiful day. i'd rather be outside enjoying the sun, on my parents boat, listening to music, socializing with friends and family. All with a Caesar or cold beer in my hand. (no i'm not an alcoholic i just enjoy a cold drink on a hot summer day)

I'm very family oriented, as you can tell by the few photos i actually have of my beautiful daughter. she is my world, but i'm not going into that story. so....... if you don't like or want kids stop right now because i'm not the man for you. i'm very proud of my daughter, she's my everything.

i'm active and fit, but i'm not a steroid induced brainless muscle head. that's just not me. i'm looking for and active, healthy motivated person who enjoys going for runs, rollerblading or even a relaxing walk. i'm by no means shallow (and if you knew me, you'd understand).

as you may have already figured out, i like to talk. when i'm comfortable. i tend to be shy at first. but i open up quickly. but just because i like to talk don't be afraid to talk back. do you have any idea how hard it is to keep an entirely one sided conversation going for 2 hours? pretty damn hard. but it CAN be done. not fun, but it can be done. i'm open, honest, and sometimes blunt. not a "honey does this dress make me look fat?" "of course it does!" type of blunt, but an honest, motivating blunt.

i like to have fun, live life and experience everything life has to offer. i love to make people laugh, especially when they've had a bad day. i'm looking for someone who i can call a "friend" first and a "lover" second. how can you make a relationship last when you can't call them your friend.

i would call myself somewhat intelligent, respectful, sensitive, honorable, humble, goal and career oriented. i always put my friends and family before myself. i love to help people in need. my friends know that if they ever need anything, i'm there for them, day or night (including a 3am "i'm drunk and can't drive home, can you get me?" phone call from time to time. i don't believe in drinking and driving, i lost friends because of it). the same works both ways. my philosophy is, what goes around, comes around, and i try to live by it.

i work very hard, but don't always like to be noticed for my accomplishments. i'm not one to show off. i'm not an ***hole, i just like to joke around and have fun. but i do swear a bit and tend to have a crude sense of humor at times. (again comes with the job). i'm looking for someone who has a head on their shoulders who i can have an intelligent conversation with. oh and bad spelling drives me nuts. i don't mind typos, but its stupid stuff like tha and tomarrow. come on, the letters are on a completely different row lol. i've always wanted to ask someone if/why they did it on purpose, but if not.... wow is all i can say.

whatever makes the woman feel comfortable. coffee, a walk, go for drinks at a restaurant. just a few ideas, but i'm open to pretty much anything. hell if you wanna go sky diving, i'm there!
