I'm told that I'm very attractive, and I like to believe that I'm romantic. I want all the best things from a relationship, I'm looking for brains and beauty. I've always been attracted to and with well-educated, beautiful, and independant women; however, it just seems that I've been out of sync. I've been with all the right women at the wrong time and all the wrong women at the right time! Sounds like a country song! It's very frustrating. I would very much like to reverse the trend, so I thought that which doesn't kill you...

I keep telling myself quotes from Winston Churchill- "It is better to have tried and failed, than to have never tried at all". Top Gun- The first time I crashed and burned, and the second?, well I don't know- it looks promising, I'll let you know on a date. I guess it is all summed up to- Martin Luther King I believe? "the life not worth examining isn't worth living".

I just wanted everyone- scratch that, anyone who actually reads this to know that I absolutely hate this internet dating phenomenon. Who knows maybe I might just survive and be pleasantly surprised. I have no trouble talking to people when I'm out and about; hell I'll talk to anybody anywhere at anytime about anything! I must admit though that I'm a bit clueless sometimes as to when I'm being hit on! I'm told by women; much later- what took you so long?

I should state that I'm looking to meet new people and expand my social circle. So if we click, and maybe something more great, if not I could always use another friend. What I'm not looking for is a cyber-friend; I'd much rather meet in person or chat on the phone.

On a first date, I'd like it to be short and sweet- a simple meet and greet, perhaps coffee! If there is chemistry or a hint of mutual compatability we can do something that we both enjoy or have wanted to try.
