1) I love "treasure hunting" and have made a business finding antiques and collectibles. I love long drives out to the country on the weekend and "discovering" yard sales and fun places.

2) I want to travel the world with my "husband".

3)I am very intuitive and insightful with a very "evolved" view point. Out-of-the-box thinker, spiritual, but not traditionally religious, more Tibetan Buddhist than anything else.

4) My eclectic taste in music: Classic Rock (Hendrix, The Who, Led Zepplin, Aerosmith, Rolling Stones), New stuff (Weezer, Greenday), Vintage Rock 'n Roll (doo wop and Rockabilly), Motown, Swing, 20's and 30's music (old movie sound tracks-- old Blues), Zydeco, Ragtime (love New Orlean's stuff). Also like classical music, except I am not thrilled about opera. I hate hip hop and rap.

5) My ideal kind of man- someone who is serious about getting married and having a life partnership. If he has had children from a previous marriage, they are independent and grown and don't live with him any more, and now he wants to concentrate on "us". He is the sort of man who goes for the brass ring, and with a "take charge" attitude and entrepreneurial spirit, never settled for second best in his career. He is well educated, competitive, but has a soft, generous and compassionate side as well, and can hold his own in a conversation with me (who is always on the winning team of Trivial Pursuit, working on a third college degree and will probably be learning Mandarin Chinese in the near future.) He values a woman with brains.

I am seeking a fun-loving Manhattanite who understands this is the greatest place on earth! ( If you don't live in Manhattan as your primary residence, you don't have a prayer in dating me-- it's a lifestyle choice!) Despite my maturity, looks are deceiving. I still look identical to my old college ID! I'm an old- fashioned girl, shy at first, but a real fox once you've broken the ice. I would rather do a night on the town in jeans than to dress to impress. I'm sensitive, vulnerable (hate to show it), intuitive and very dedicated to the man I fall in love with. If you've had kids, they are completely grown, on their own and out of the house, so now we have time for each other. My parents are Reform. I am more of a Jew-Bu. You would definitely be catching me seeing the Dalai Lama before ever stepping foot in a synagogue. I have worked in both the entertainment industry as a (former) photographer and now work in the fashion industry (art director),and would love to have a "straight" man to share my life with (most of the people I work with are gay). Nearly all the activities I enjoy, from Sunday morning brunch to travel, need to be done as a couple, so without my "other half" I am missing out on half of life.

An afternoon walking through Central Park, with a stop possibly at the Apple Store (I really am into MAC computers), the zoo or one of the Museums lining the perimeter of the park with lunch, of course. I am a "conversation" person. One of the most important things about compatibility is how my partner thinks-- his intelligence, his opinions, his stand politically (must be a Democrat), his spiritual (versus religious) feelings, his education. A walk through the park on a perfect day is a great way not to be distracted and get that out in the open.
