I grew up in Europe and came to U. S. as a teen. The significance of this is that I have a bit of both cultures in me and an appreciation for the things that this country has to offer, that others don’t. (Although to some degree that goes both ways…) Oh yes, and I have an accent.

Like many folks here, I like to travel, be it a weekend getaway, or weeks of exploring abroad. Still, daring as my adventures can become, I always seem to come back home, to the lovely San Francisco.

On a rainy day, I find it comforting to cuddle under a dawn blanket, with hot chocolate, and a movie (preferably in a company of someone other than my cat).

My family and friends are very important part of my life. My mom lives on the east coast and I visit her often, and I also travel back to Europe, to see everyone there.

Friends of mine form a wide variety of flavors;
for play and for "trouble" =) They would describe me as passionate, spontaneous, ambitious, and busy (but I always find time for someone important to me, perhaps you...?)

My dad taught me to be curious about everything; be it nature, (fauna, flora, geography, weather), molecular biology, business, politics, history, computer technologies, arts, pets… herbs, cars, music, dead geniuses, and as far as I can remember I've always had wide variety of interests.

My mom taught me about elegance, warmth, patience, understanding, open mindedness, acceptance, and to be proud of whom I was.

As a result I can be practical and efficient, but also believe that when there is a will there is a way. I’ve never NOT accomplished anything that I’ve decided to accomplish, unless I lost interest. I can be stubborn, and playfuly sarcastic, honest and direct, but I try to be polite about it. I have high work and people ethics, and (I hope) healthy universal values.

In a relationship, I think that trust and open communication are a must, while compromising and agreeing to disagree are invaluable skills. Time and patience make things more interesting, and ALL good things require a byte of work.

It'd be nice if we had few things to do together; travel, outdoors, movies, perhaps music, etc; but I'm also very independent, and hope that we will have few of our own hobbies and friends.

I like spontaneity, surprising and surprises, playfulness and flirting, but I also can get into a heated philosophical discussion - for fun. I consider myself to be femenen but also down to earth, I don't like drama, or extremes.

Some of my favorite rituals include:

-Gym and yoga interchangeably everyday
-Trader joe's
-Farmer's market on Sundays
-SF MOMA monthly
-DeYoung and Cal. Acad. of Sciences
-Art galleries, especially on 1st Thursday of the month! They're FREE! Have you been?!
-Opera and Theater in Season
-Live music at a local cafe, or a nice venue
-Summer Concerts at GG Park
-Weekend drive out of the city for wine tasting or a hike, which end with a nice dinner, ohhh
-Cooking! I've heard Im PRETTY GOOD at it! Care to confirm? ;-)

What I'll especially like about You:

-know yourself pretty well and know women...well enough

-like what you do, but are ambitious and always strive to be more

-are curious and try to find out the facts, rather than answer "I don't know" and leave it at that

-like to travel and discover new places, are not afraid of a tent, although staying in a nice hotel can be pleasantly amusing

-lead a healthy lifestyle by paying attention to your physical and mental needs; including tasty foods, laughter and cuddling

-know when to listen and enjoy hearing my point of view, even if you don't always agree

-are not afraid to take charge and push my limits of comfort

-You talk to me anyway about things that I might not understand, because you sense that knowledge and intelligence turn me on
