Born in the UK. I'm a retired Designer and live in a tiny cozy house. I am comfortable with myself and I am not high maintenance. As I grew older I learned that the simple things in life are best. I lived in Florida for 22 years before coming to Upstate, N.Y. I miss the warmth and when I thought of excercise shovelling snow was not on my agenda. My two grown children live close but not too close.I am friendly in a slightly reserved way and would have one or two good friends than many. I am a bit of a homebody but not overly so I just enjoy homelife and all it entails. I would be willing to relocate for the right reasons preferably back to the UK anywhere warmer than here in winter. I like to cook and I haven't poisoned anyone yet. I like to take drives in the countryside with no destination in mind and poke around small shops, museums and villages...I do not care for Malls or large restuarants I prefer small cozy places. You'd never catch me in Starbucks.I like old movies especially the black and white ones.I love to watch DVDs at home.I enjoy listening to classical music...I don't know all the ins and outs just know it sounds good to me.I also like easy listening music...think Dean, Frank and Tony. I do not care for the new style of country music or the so called music of today. I watch British Dramas and Mysteries on TV along with the History and Nat'l Geographic channel.Politically I am liberal and not terribly fond of republicans. I am definitely not religious but do not impose my beliefs on anyone.
I like to putter around my home and do my own DIY...it would be nice if you were handy also. I haven't been dancing in years so I am very rusty.
I love Sunday mornings when I read the newspaper, clip coupons and cook a full English Breakfast...Sunday is not a day for dieting. Autumn is my favourite season and here in the bitter winters I tend to hibernate. I enjoy camping ....but not in a tent... and flea markets. I am an animal lover so you must like animals. I have a perfect cat called Luna.
If you are a hunter or take recreational drugs please pass me by. I also don't tolerate any kind of prejudice against others.

I would prefer to go to a small cafe for a cup of tea and then see how it goes from there.
