Where to begin? Well ... I have a wide variety of interests and consider myself to be an active and outgoing person. Also have nice abs and arms, and a great smile (ok, my friend dared me to say this). I have a successful career, and a cozy get-away property on one of the Gulf islands that I enjoy spending time at with my family and friends. It's a little 'rustic' or perhaps rural, but it fits with my upbringing and helps to balance out who I am.

Otherwise, I consider myself honest and genuine, positive-thinking, health-conscious, enjoy constantly learning and trying new things - and hope to find the same in a partner. I've been told that I treat the person I'm in a relationship with like gold. I believe in love and giving it my all in a relationship, and hopefully receiving as much back. Makes life so much more meaningful.

Some little known facts about me (until I posted them to this website that is) – I make a pretty mean hummus and am told that I’m an excellent cook (love to cook), consider myself a bit of a writer, which is an ambition/goal of mine, and despite being from the prairies originally, I can’t seem to get enough of the ocean and water activities.

And you? Interesting, active, attractive, fun to be around and open-minded. Other qualities I appreciate: able to enjoy a nice glass of wine and conversation on a patio on a warm summer night, love of dogs, enjoy traveling (both higher-end and camping out/backpacking) have a positive attitude and are somewhat spiritual but not religious.

As for POF - not sure what I’m looking for exactly - hoping to meet someone that I can connect with, and if so, we’ll take it from there. Ultimately, hope to meet someone for long-term .. someone I can laugh with, hike with, spend lazy days in bed with, cook with, travel with, dream with, watch the stars with, and just both 'be' - each as one - yet together, without any drama.

Get to know each other over dinner? Depends on you really, and in what way we may connect. I've been known to be pretty spontaneous, so we may end up at a concert in a park, or with a henna tatoo on our shoulders - who knows?
