Hello,
I am a happy content person who loves life. I have been single for a long time now, but I have been busy raising my children. They are getting older now and I have found myself wishing for a partner to spend quality time with. I guess that is why we are all here!!! My home is in Cottage Country but I work in Toronto. I love my job but driving back and forth is just out of the question. I would be crazy, so I only go home on weekends unless there is something important going on. Living like this has made home like a sanctuary for me. I would ultimately like to meet a man who would also enjoy the country living on the weekends and the city through the week.

I love hockey, and I really mean that. I am a Leaf fan, but very practical in knowing that it will be years before they win the Cup again. All my kids play hockey so arenas are a big part of my winter. I also like to watch baseball and go to several games over the summer as I can walk to the Rogers Centre from work.
I listen to lots of music but Classic Rock is my favourite by far. Springsteen & Zeppelin are at the top of my list. I love going to concerts and have been to quite a few in the last couple years. I really like going to the Molson Amphitheatre and sitting on the grass watching good bands. I go to the gym pretty much every night after work, but would sure like to explore more of this great city with a great guy!

I love the outdoors and camping. Sitting by a campfire, is one of my most favourite things to do. I have many gardens and spend as much time outside as I can all summer. Wow us Canadians are tough aren't we! I do like the heat and enjoy a warm holiday most winters. But when I can't be south then skiing is great, or snowshoeing in the winter helps the sunny but cold days pass. I do spend a fair amount of times in arenas on the weekends as I have said. Hockey would have to be a least something my partner enjoyed. Even when my kids are finished playing I will still want to watch games. I like to watch movies also in the winter, snuggled on a couch with the woodstove on.

I love working together on stuff around the house or even things as simple as preparing dinner together. A glass of wine and great conversation are a good way to wind down after a hectic day at work. I have a pretty good sense of humour and enjoy being with a guy who does as well. Laughing together is pretty important I think.

I, like all of us 40+ people, have a past. I don't regret any of mine. I have learned from mistakes and taken the best of relationships and moved on. I am looking forward to meeting a guy who is has kind of done the same with his past!
