I enjoy gardening, running, and designing and building places to relax and recharge.

I'm looking forward to buying a small house again and rehabbing it to my specific ideas of a wonderful, exciting space. I want to live in a place where I can recharge at the end of an active day ... where I can 'smell the roses' because my garden oasis is actually blooming with them. The place will be inviting and a great place to enjoy with friends and family who we'll invite over for dinner and/or cards.

I'm an eclectic mix of passions and calm. I love to throw myself into projects and groups who support the things I value: my relationship with Christ, the 'pocket gardens' interspersed throughout the urban landscape, the value of encouraging eachother to be the wonderful gifts we were created to become. I enjoy preparing meals and baking bread for guests and sharing them as gifts. I relish time alone in the garden or with my partner planting and designing the outdoor spaces I enjoy everyday.

I enjoy all kinds of music as long as it is melodic: jazz, some country, rock, classical. I abhor rap with its droning beat and caustic lyrics.

On a first date I'd pick somewhere quiet (coffee shop or park) where we could relax and talk. Meeting for the first time is often fraught with anxiety and anticipation so I prefer a low-key environment conducive to communication.
