My favorite fruit is chocolate covered cherries. I love black clothes. I don't like paper cuts or people that crack their necks. Don't call me on Sundays from 7pm to 11pm...I'm watching the Sunday cry fest which consists of Extreme Home Makeover and Intervention. Tattoos under a nice suit is sexy. I love to listen to Ali Farka Toure's "Ai Du" while I drink beer in the bubble bath. (take a listen, its the sexiest song you'll ever hear). I think****oaches are the devil in disguise. I am a drug store junkie...bobby pins and blue eyeshadow babe! I like cookie dough, vintage Madonna, fabric softner, Jon Stewart, beer, the lines in the carpet the vacuum leaves,listening to Kings of Leon on my ipod as loud as I can under the stars before bed, my down comforter, Sandalwood Rose sugar scrub from Bath & Body, being a Pisces, pretending I can sing, the big green vase on my coffee table that people insist on putting on the floor when they're watching TV (you know who you are), looking through my rear view mirror and seeing all the handprints my niece and nephews left on the windows after a road trip, any type of sports,a freezing bedroom with a great blanket, brand new highlights, San Francisco, Vancouver and pedicures from the sweet little asian lady who you suspect is talking sh*tabout you, Diet 7up, The Hurricane (RIP 12-31-07), classic rock in a dark bar, being a sister, the smell of fuel, the F-22 Raptor, Target at 8am when it's empty, clean, and smells like popcorn, road trips, new PJ's, french bread, my Grandma's old vanity that still smells like her perfume, headbands, my hair after a day at the beach....and my baby Lex (if you consider being almost 17 still a baby that is) :)


Ok now for some more serious stuff. I know who I am, and I'm not afraid to lay my faults out for the world to see. I feel I learn from it and if we're not learning about ourselves and everything around us...what are we doing here? I don't mind being called out if someone thinks I'm wrong. I'm not going to pout all night if you change my favorite song on the radio or don't let me pick the movie we see. I am NOT passive aggressive. I typically say what's on my mind and if I don't...I don't make it YOUR problem to try and find out why I'm so pissed off. As for my type, I can't say I have one. Attraction is a funny thing that we don't control. What I do like in a man is a strong presence. Someone who makes decisions and doesn't apologize for them, someone who is versatile...like watching football on Sunday and then Shakespeare in Love on Monday. It's always a plus if you're close with your family, as I am with mine. Someone who has a small group of close friends as opposed to 900 "friends". Lastly, what I can't deal with is selfishness. I'll watch all the Iceroad Truckers you want but when it comes time to drag you to a BBQ hosted by someone I work with, I'd love to have that same support. (Wow, it sounds like I watch a lot of TV, don't panic...they're just examples. :)

Hmmm first date. I'll put on stilletos and we can walk around Home Depot. Just kiddin. Something fun, no movies or stuffy dinners.
