About Me
I am learning to play the accordion. I already play guitar (really badly). And I love to sing (I need people to drag me out to karaoke so I can begin to maximize my potential).
I am a grammar and spelling nerd.
I just realized in the last year that children are beautiful, inspirational beings.
I like to dress up in costumes for nights out on the town or rolling in playa dust.
I love girlie drinks, but also a good bourbon.
I am a wearer of comfortable shoes. (They tend to lead to walking explorations, which I love.)
I often choose clothing according to texture more than by any other standards.
I love reading and films but am terrible at describing plot lines.
I'm bi-petual (I think that cats and dogs are equally perfect animal friends).
I love rain, always. (No, I have never lived in the northwest).
I haven't turned on my tv in over a month, a trend with which I am very happy. (No, I don't watch Hulu...very much.)
I am a compulsive helper. I stop confused-looking tourists on the street to give them directions.
At some point, I want to make my own clothes. I am never satisfied with things I find in stores. Most of my clothes are from thrift stores.
I am a planner, but love the opportunity to be spontaneous.
I have crazy hair, but have given up complaining about it.
I continuously try things that I know won't work, just in case I'm wrong.
I appreciate my parents.
I hardly ever wear pink in my daily life, but it tends to show up in the outfits of my alter-egos.
I believe in the power of energy fields and try to respect and work with them in my daily decision-making. It's made a big difference for me to feel my way through many decisions rather than to try to use logic. I am so left-brained that it's a continuous project.
The first movie that really scared me when I was a kid was E.T. I was terrified by him. Now I would be so ecstatic to meet beings from another world.
I floss religiously.
For a while Santa Cruz was where I belonged, but I think the City is the perfect place for me now.
In the new year, I've begun to fill my life with lots of stuff that keeps me engaged with life. This means I'm incredibly busy. What better time to start dating someone?! Ha!
If you are the right person, you will think that this is all very, very cute.
First Date
Wandering, something to keep us occupied - exploring a museum, a neighborhood, a park. I get nervous talking to a new person face to face.
