First of all i think breaking the ice over a drink good just to see if there is any spark between the two. If the weather is nice a walk in the park or a walk on the beach could be in order. A movie is fine also but its hard to get to know someone in the theatre. Going out to a restaurant is also a good way to get to know one another.
