1. Talk about your hobbies.

I am an admitted adrenaline junkie. Whether paddling through some extreme whitewater, weaving my bike through new york rush hour traffic, or eating some spicy indian food, life is more fun lived yelling 'woo' (thank you, HIMYM). But, I do have to say that I love the outdoors as much as cultural events and intellectual stimulation. Yeah, I said stimulation.

2. Talk about your goals/aspirations

I quit corporate America to follow my dream and started my own business last year. I love being an entreprenuer so much that I am helping start a couple more this year. Aside from work though, the real reason I'm even in the NYC is because I moved here to help start a church based on service work; so that always remains my top priority until God sends me somewhere else (may I put in a request for warm next time?).

3. Talk about yourself and what makes you unique.

The number 46137 is my favorite number because on an upside down calculator it spells out my middle name. I've backpacked Europe alone for 2 months and plan to hit up South America soon. I generally win my fantasy football league (against mostly men). I donate my hair every two years and also enjoy changing its color every 6 months or so. And, I smile almost nonstop due to living in the midwest most of my life (this annoys people from the east coast).

4. Your taste in music

I like almost everything. I am terrible at lyrics and absolutely horrible at knowing artists and names of songs, but I love music. Mostly though, I love to dance. If you can(or pretend you can) shake your booty, you so win.

Ok, instead of describing what I would do for a first date, I'm creating a different question numero cinco. 5. What am I looking for in a someone I'd date?

So many of you have sent wonderful emails (THANK YOU!!), but I just want to save us both time and clarify a few things that are of utmost importance to me. First off, unless you're Christian/Catholic (i.e. you follow Jesus and you're comfortable declaring your faith), then I will at most be friends with you. I've had wonderful relationships with great men outside of my faith, but in the end, we all realized it wouldn't work out. Secondly, I think smarties/geeks/nerds -whatever you want to call yourself are hot. Although I really know how to have fun, at the end of the day I'd like to discuss our adventures with someone who shares a similar vocabulary. And last, but absolutely not least, please be funny/have a good sense of humor. I don't expect you to be on HIMYM or SNL, but enjoy smiling/laughing and general lightheartedness. I'm sure that is quite a bar I just threw out there, and I know I'm far from perfect, but I thought it would be best to be open and fair. Best of luck fishing, y'all!
