Yes, I provide a lot of details. Dating isn't a sport for me! This is serious business. I'll try to express poetic license elsewhere & list details that are important to me. So, when I say I like to dance, for example, you'll better understand my "one-word description": PASSIONATE. It's not "fluff"- I didn't say "in the rain"- (although, that sounds fun) it's just who I am. I truly miss being romantic, love my kids, work hard & often care a little too much. I've had good conversations with street people, enjoy making silly faces @ kids when their mom isn't looking, then quickly stopping when she looks to see what they're reacting to. I'm a good listener. Several years back I regretfully was intermittent at this. I look in people's eyes when conversing, am a very deep thinker, have a spiritual appreciation, but AVOID organized religious myth. I enjoy practical jokes or suprises that require planning & show that I care about ya. I hate to repeat myself. I hate to repeat myself. I like to kiss. I like to kiss. All the oxygen leaves my head when my earlobes are kissed. Well, it's true! I'm the guy at a party making sure every single person is having fun. I like to find the shyest person present & make them smile. I might even get 'em to dance! I want a serious relationship & bore quickly of immaturity. he,he,he. I love the Philadelphia Eagles! I'm not impressed with fake people. Kids R Cool. I'm a genuine guy, easy to talk to & prefer to associate w/those who can express themselves.

Chicks in jeans & a baseball cap are cute; I must admit, though, I'm attracted to woman who know how to be classy. Pedicures drive me wild!"Manicured nails running through my hair, tracing vascular lines, affectionately scratching my back..." sorry, I started that poetic stuff again! When I get in certain moods, I either write or play my sax. My work varies from hilarious stories to serious academic articles on various subjects. I also like to write poetry, letters & cards. I'm especially fond of tugging on heart strings, encouraging tears to flow or initiating trips through the many memories we all have trapped behind doors- in rooms we seldom enter. Currently, I'm working on "Memoirs of a Pizza Delivery Driver", a very funny book. I enjoy tinkering on the piano w/my daughter & promised to teach her how to play the flute she's getting for her next birthday. My oldest son plays the cello. I listen to Jazz, Funk, Fusion, Rock, Rap, House, Hip- Hop, you name it! I usually play country when the kids are in the pool, but you'll NEVER find me in a "kicker club."I'm one of the few guys who loves to be on the dance floor, whether its club music or ballroom dancing!

Physical attraction is an obvious desire & I feel fortunate- unworthy even, of going out w/the beautiful women I have. However,"everything else" is just as important. I find it difficult to relate w/someone who has "little drama" to draw on & thinks life revolves around the next concert that comes to town. But, I admit: I like to party. Of course, we'd be sharing the majority of our hours together sober- so let's start there. I seek the company of those with a positive, young & fresh attitude rather than a negative one. I prefer looking forward while appreciating the advantage I have in the many lessons of my past. We gotta WANT to understand each other's journey. Oh yeah- Ya gotta like to laugh!

Quiet, air conditioned, nuetral territory, possibly a strip-club? Just kidding! Some cool ideas (off the top of my head): We meet at a Barnes & Noble book store/Starbucks Cafe & do the introductions (oh God, so nervous). Then we get our coffee & talk a bit. We will have already emailed each other briefly & probably even spoke on the phone by now, so shortly thereafter we are "ready for action"- STRIKE THAT, that's not what I mean... we're ready for entertainment/fun/activity- but need to see if there is chemistry, so we each go through the bookstore selecting books we think the other would choose for themselves (based on what we know). Then we compare our selections. Too much? Save it for the TV show?? After this, we should be ready for Vegas! LOL (who came up w/LOL anyway?);(I also like GUFFAW, when appropriate) Seriously, I look forward to having someone to enjoy a myriad of fun activities with, as well as just staying in or visiting w/your friends & family. Getting to know each other, feeling comfortable & developing a mutual identity that defines a couple's personality obviously has to come first.
