My name is Jimmy and I am 54 years old, 5’7” tall and I am a Sagittarian. With all of that being said I just thought that I would give you a list of things about me that may or may not attract or interest you. I figure it is just better to get it all out in the open so that you can see it and figure out for yourself if I am the person that you would like to get to know better. Fair enough? Good. Before I begin I want everyone to know that "God is first in my life" for without him we wouldn't even be here!

So here’s the list…

1. I am a one-woman man. My woman is also my life-partner, best friend, my lover, my mentor, my banker, my doctor, my SOUL-MATE who knows me better than I know myself.

2. Like all of you I have issues that I deal with all the time but I am hoping that together, my best friend will help me with those. Let us learn as we go because it isn't the destination that matters most but it is the the journey. Let's enjoy the journey together!

3. I am a very “passionate and sensual person.” Where intimacy is concerned I feel that when my partner and I are enthralled in the wings of passion that we actually meld into one being and it is at that time that we know the true meaning of “physical love.” After is when we learn and appreciate the emotional bond of love that can only come from talking with one another and from knowing that I am yours and you are mine forever, We are One!

4. I love to cook. I am not a gourmet chef by any stretch of the imagination but I do fix a really good Chicken or Veal Cordon Bleu, a scrumptious Tuna Melt, and my crock-pot skills are second to none. I am also in the process of perfecting my baking skills as well having fixed many cakes and cup cakes and cookies.

5. I love to play golf though I don’t play as much as I used to. I really enjoy being on the golf course and watching nature while playing the game. Would love it if my partner played as well.

6. I love to go to flea markets because you just never know what you’re going to find. You know the old adage, “One man’s trash is another man’s gold!”

7. I enjoy watching TV at home and being relaxed. With all the hustle and bustle of day-to-day living and the demands of others on our time and resources, it just makes sense to let your hair down and enjoy a good movie or two with the one you love. I didn’t think that I would really like it much but I have really enjoyed watching “Dancing With The Stars!”

8. I thoroughly enjoy music of all types with some exceptions. I cannot listen to Rap, Hip Hop, or Reggae as to me that is not music but something from another planet. Music can take me away from anything that is bothering me. There is so much truth in music. My favorite song is by Wynona Judd called “Testify to Love” which debuted on the show “Touched by an Angel” in the episode titled “The 151st Psalm.” My favorite group... hands down "Fleetwood Mac!"

9. I make plenty of mistakes and I am not perfect. However if I had just taken the time to talk things through and listen more attentively at an earlier stage in my life I wouldn’t be here now. My partner should understand this in me and tell me when I am being non-communicative. I would like to think that my partner would use a 2X4 (figuratively speaking of course!) and whack me up side the head and say “You’re not communicating with me!” I guess that what I am trying to say here is that I am definitely oblivious at times but I don’t see it as being that so hence the 2X4 to give me a moment of pause to allow me to see that I am not communicating the way I should.

10. I have a 16 year old son who lives with his mother. We see each other several times a year and he is the source of my greatest joy!

12. I live alone and I do get lonely for human companionship. I miss the noise of someone in the house, I miss cooking for someone, I miss having someone around to talk to, I miss being able to call during the day just to see how your day is going, I miss being able to come home and give you a kiss, I miss having someone to go out to dinner with, I truly do miss all of those things.

13. I work at The Dump furniture store over on Brook Road and it would certainly “Make My Day” if you stopped in and said “Hello!” I will be happy to spend a few minutes with you and we can chat! When you come in just go to the carpet department and ask for Gilbert (...yes that is my given name!) Hall and someone will direct you to me!

14. Finally... I smoke. About a pack or less a day. I NEVER smoke indoors. I always go out outside to do it for I am KEENLY aware of non-smokers feelings and do everything in my power to minimize the effects of my habit. For many ladies... this is the deal breaker but I have to be honest and tell you... better to find out now than later!


Well I think that about covers it for now. There is of course much more but that is for another place, another time. By the way, I forgot to mention that when I do find my soul-mate she will receive a “Lifetime Guarantee” from me. Once she finds me all will be well!
