I am a partly retired health care professional who has lived in Portland for 30+ years. I grew up in New England and went to college and post graduate education at the University of Virginia and Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. I have lived and worked in Europe and the east coast of the US, and Portland is the best place to live, for sure. I am easy going, polite, friendly, intelligent, passionate and compassionate, faithful and reliable, as well as emotionally and financially secure. Fortunately, I am in excellent health and am physically fit. I feel and act 10 to 15 years younger than the calendar says. Thanks to my parents (96 and 89 y/o) I have longevity in the family.

I am looking for an honest, faithful and well balanced person who appreciates being cherished and sharing in return. Learning new things from other people is a genuine gift in life. I hope that she values herself as much as she values others. If we share similar values and chemistry, the rest will come with time and patience. She is a warm, kind and considerate person who is honest, trustworthy, positive and lives a healthy lifestyle. She recognizes that people do the best they can in the circumstances in which they find themselves. She also believes that we can learn and grow from each other and from positive experiences with others. She is comfortable at home in the garden, in front of the fireplace, in the kitchen, in a quaint or fine restaurant, in another city or country traveling together. Something low key when first meeting. It can be awkward sometimes so let's not put any more pressure on each other than is already there. Meeting for coffee or tea or an adult beverage is a good way to start. If that works we can surely figure out the rest.
