I am a social butterfly, and I love most types of music as long as I can actually dance to it. I love to smile, and I am very optimistic. I really enjoy doing things outdoors, but I have to admit that my idea of camping has electricity and running water.

I have three children, and I share custody with their father. They are very important to me, and my schedule can be pretty full when they are with me.

I love most animals, but I also believe that they should be well behaved. For example, if a dog's idea of a greeting includes jumping up with paws/claws extended, no thanks.

I was a major tomboy growing up, so I actually enjoy watching football and basketball (pro and college). No favorite teams, but I can walk into a place where any game or sporting event is playing and get pretty excited about it.

I have lived in Sacramento for several years, but have not explored most of the town. I typically travel to one of the bays (SF, Monterey, Bodega), foothills, mountains or other "sites", so I am looking forward to finding some of those "hole in the wall" places to dine and hang out in both Sacramento and the bay area.

My ideal guy is someone who: enjoys different kinds of music; likes to dance; is comfortable in a large group and when it is just us; is able to have fun without putting other people down; is tall (5'10" or above -- I like to wear 3-4" heels) and athletic; and takes care of himself physically, mentally and spiritually. Skin color and background don't matter - personality, chemistry, and communication skills do!!

My ideal first date is something simple and brief: coffee and conversation, or appetizers and drinks.

The second date is the one that is more important. This is the one we dress up for and do something fun/special. Not crazy (nervous about sky-diving and bungee jumping) or over-the-top expensive. Something well thought out and shows that previous conversations actually mattered! Oh, and by the way, I like being treated like a lady so please hold the door for me, pull out my chair, etc. (hint hint)
