About Me
*cliche alert* I never know what to write in these things, I guess you can say I'm fairly laid back, I enjoy a lot of things, from just sitting on the couch watching re-runs of Friends and Seinfeld to going out for nice long walks or even runs, I enjoy rollerblading and I love riding my bike even though I don't have one at the moment, and I can play the guitar but I have no sense of rhythm. I like to read. Micheal Crichton is my favourite author by far. I'm a fairly hopeless romantic, I'm not overly sensitive, but I do have a soft side, and do appreciate sentimentality I'm very honest and I don't play games.
I'm going to Carleton for History, I plan on minoring in Political Science. I'm thinking of going into education after graduation, when I was in High school I did my Co-op at an elementary school, I helped out in a grade 6 classroom, I marked tests, did group readings and helped them with their class play, a simplified version of Macbeth. All and all it was fun. but I'm also thinking some kind of Government job would be good too. I'm thinking about graduate school already and I haven't even started my first year yet, sounds quite ambitious doesn't it?. I've also graduated from St Lawrence College in Kingston Ontario for Hospitality and Tourism Management, over the years I've found that the industry just isn't for me.
I'm a huge Beatles fan, I absolutely love them, I went to England in January and went to London and Liverpool and went to all the sites and museums, it was fantastic. I also like Green day, Radiohead, Oasis, Rise Against, Guns and Roses, The Smashing Pumpkins and did I mention the Beatles? my tastes tend to be fairly mainstream, but I'm not ashamed of that.
P.S you should message me if you know how to tie a scarf. I have a scarf and I cannot tie it properly, yet, I can tie a Windsor knot...silly I know.
First Date
A walk through a nice neighbourhood downtown and then some coffee or a frappuccino (depending on the weather) or possibly a drink in a good pub. Something low key that allows our personalities to come through and see if there is a spark there or not. Hopefully that doesn't sound too boring! Mini-put or bowling would be fun too, they allow for a good awkwardness that will undoubtedly lighten the mood and keep everything light.
