Some people are settling down, some people are settling, and some people refuse to settle for anything less than fireworks.

I am not interested in most guys... and perhaps that's what makes those few unique individuals that I do connect with... all the more special.

I tend to have a relaxed (but not boring) practical sense of life....easy to be with...a good listener-- balanced & intuitive.

I used to be an excellent STRIPPER...but got tired of the fumes from the paint remover (you know what I'm talking about if you've ever restored furniture). Then I got into painting....water colors & acrylics.

I've been playing the guitar & singing all of my life, and have actually earned a full-time living with it in the past....back when I had to support the '49 Rolls....now it's a Prius for me. I also play the harp...not the harmonica. I have a "real job" teaching at a local university. All my friends & family say I'm a good cook & entertainer. I've lived in CT, Atlanta, SC & FL . Not big into sports, but have snow skied, water skied, roller & ice skated, played softball and did target shooting at a local gun range. I took golf lessons and had no bad habits (plan to give gold another try). Kayaking is something I've done and really want to do again....next time in the ocean with no alligators around.

I've been divorced for several years, and moved past that chapter a long time ago. My new love interest would be past that too....and ready for new experiences...good times ahead. Certainly not looking for one-night-stands, but a warm personal/sensual relationship with the right man.

In my spare time I enjoy working on my music, reading, planting flowers, cooking....socializing with friends. I enjoy attending concerts and art shows with friends. I enjoy scrumptious foods, good wines, beer and dark aged rum. Spicy Indian and Thai cuisine are among my favorites. I tend to eat healthy on a daily basis, but will splurge when enticed...especially when it comes to very good dark chocolate. Love chocolate truffles with a good port. yummm.



Smoking, excessive drinking/drugs are deal breakers for me.
How do you feel when you hear your favorite music?

For the 1st date...let's meet in one of the large bookstores...in the cafe; have a coffee and chat. If we both feel there's chemistry, we can plan a 2nd date.
