I'm a little quirky. I like taking risks only when I know what I am getting myself into. I'm impulsive but I like to research my impulses before I make a decision. (Sounds weird right?) In other words, I come up with ideas out of thin air and want to implement them but take the time to assess the situation before I commit.

My personality shares that dual quality, I am a little feisty but also sensitive and compassionate. I like to look and feel feminine but I'm not "girly". I'll take red over pink any day. I'm a very loyal and down to Earth woman.

I'm looking for a person who is seeking something more than friendship. My focus right now is dating with the purpose of finding someone special. Right now I am pretty content with the way my life is except for the fact that I don't have a current romantic interest.


The type of men who I am attracted to are those who are masculine and knows how to take the lead. I like men who can walk with me through the hood and not have problems but can also come up to my job and not get a second glance from co-workers. Guys who play football, used to play football or have a football player's build make me weak. (But this is not a requirement) I also want a guy that can communicate and doesn't expect me to figure him out on my own.


I am employed full-time with a financial services firm and go to school part-time finishing a degree in Business/Finance. I also went to school for massage therapy. I love making people feel good, it makes me feel good in return. I have two pets, a dog and a cat (yes, they get along). I'm originally from Newark, NJ but I have lived in Baltimore, MD for the past 3 years (hence the username). I like Maryland but I still represent Jersey to the fullest. :) I have recently lost 40 lbs and still going strong.


I enjoy reading books and I also enjoy writing. I write erotic short stories in my spare time. My favorite music is R&B, I'm a big Ne-Yo fan. I also like "Lite FM" songs, a bit of alternative rock (I love Maroon 5) and old school. I'm not much of a Hip Hop person except for what comes on the radio. I also love to grill out on my back steps and I'm hoping to be able to grill TWO steaks instead of just one soon!

I usually like for the guy to pick out what we are going to do for the first date. However, I like to avoid things that prohibit us from talking and getting to know each other so movies are definitely out and I prefer to not have dinner on the first date. I like to bowl but I can get competitive with it. :)
