I'm a sports nut. I like to watch, play and talk about sports. But I'm also into music, television and movies. I play guitar, I go to a lot of concerts, and mostly I'll get together with friends and we'll normally just hang out and have good conversation while sharing a few drinks. But we might go golfing, if you can call it that, or to the batting cages, or something like that. Oh yeah, I would be remiss if I didn't mention that I like karoake. I don't go very often but when I do I sing and I'm not too shabby. I have a little bit of a stage presence, and that's an attractive quality in that type of environment so I tend to make friends at those places.

I'm a web developer and I love my job, but I'm not married to it. My real talent in life is connecting with people. If I could do it all over again, I would probably go to school to be a social worker, or something where I'm helping people. But currently I'm 3 classes shy of my BA in Computer and Information Systems so I'm just going to stick with the computer thing. Again, I'm happy with what I do. It changes every day and it's challenging. But I would just probably feel more fulfilled if I were to have a more meaningful job. Hindsight's 20/20.

I spent 10 years in the Air Force Reserves so I've been all over the world. I was also activated for 2 years, during which I spent 7+ months in the desert, so I'm a veteran of Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, and Noble Eagle. But I've never really travelled too much as a civilian, so I'd like to start doing that. I would LOVE to go to the World Cup in South Africa in 2010, but we'll see.

What my friends like about me most is my personality. I'm funny and personable. Like I said before, my talent is connecting with people. But more specifically, I'm a good listener, and I can talk to any person, any time, about anything. I have a unique ability to get closed-off people to open up to me. I can be the life of the party and I can also blend in to the background. I can be a leader and I can be a follower. I just feel out situations and figure out what role I should play. If I start out as a follower and the night starts going south, I will take the reigns.

Lastly, I listen to all sorts of music. I guess my favorites are Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, Breaking Benjamin, Dave Matthews Band, Incubus, System of a Down, Journey, Huey Lewis and the News, Black Eyed Peas, Simon and Garfunkel, I could go on. I can usually find something I like about any piece of music.

It's tough to say what a first date would be. I'm a very thoughtful person so I would feel out my date to decide what would be best for the evening.
