Hi there. I'm Nate. Where to begin...

I'm not antisocial, just very shy at the start. (Note that this means I'm unlikely to message you first... give it a shot!) If you can crack me out of my shell, though, you'll see I like to have fun and love to laugh. I am a kind and caring person, someone who is as passionate about friendship as I am about more serious relationships. I'm looking for someone kind, dependable, level-headed, and well-grounded in reality.

Favorite TV shows run the gamut: 24, Heroes, Lost, Mad Men, True Blood, West Wing, Dollhouse, Burn Notice, Flight of the Conchords... that should give you a taste of my rather eclectic personality.

I enjoy movies of every genre, even so-called "chick flicks." My taste in music is similarly broad, the only exceptions being rap and (most) country... no thanks. I enjoy punk, prog, and classic rock, but have been known to listen to classical, oldies, showtunes, metal, ska, electronica, trance, dance, techno, soft rock... the list just goes on, from the Beatles to the Ramones to Dragonforce to Iris to No More Kings to Billy Joel. I think music is one of the greatest things in the world, and that life would be so, so much more dull without it.

I like video games, but I'm not going to force you to sit around and watch me play them. Still, it would be a nice bonus if you'd consider picking up a controller to join in sometimes. Given my adoration of music, it should be no surprise that I play Rock Band regularly.
