I'm a senior majoring in Civil Engineering at Missouri S&T. I'm a proud father of the most amazing two-year-old ever, and a soldier in the Missouri Army National Guard. My taste in music is pretty broad - I'll listen to just about anything and enjoy it as long as it has good lyrics and a good song behind it. My favorites are classic rock, alternative, and jazz. I'm driven to do great things in life. My goal is to finish college, get an amazing job, have a successful part-time career with the Guard, provide for my son and help him have a great life too. Along the way I'm keeping my eyes open for someone who I connect with who wants to share the journey; someone with goals and dreams of their own that maybe I can help come true. The most important qualities to me all exist between the ears and in the heart. The rest is window dressing and passes with time anyway!

Dinner is always a great choice. I'm pretty good at breaking the ice, and a restaurant is a good place to have a conversation. I also enjoy going to the movies or a bowling alley. But for those that aren't into the whole "dinner and a movie" thing, and it is a bit overdone, I also like going to parks. You can really get to know someone while taking a stroll. I love being outdoors and enjoying nature, and it's relaxing to just go for a walk. Bars are always fun, but not for a first date. I think the perfect first date is about two people meeting, having a fun time together, and learning enough about the other person to know they can't wait to see them again.
