I am a pretty positive happy person and I like to surround myself with similar people; no room for negativity or drama in my life. I'm a bit of a weirdo but not in a creepy way and I definately have a unique sense of humour which i share with my not so little brother (whom is my favourite person in the whole world). We are the ones in the theatre who laugh simultaneously at all the parts no one else is laughing at. *waves*

I love music! Pretty much all types although I am not a rap music fan or a pop music fan...having said that...i do fall victim to those damn catchy songs that you really really really want to hate..but haunt your mind for days, weeks even! lol i listen to everything from vivaldi to system of a down, pantera, foo fighters, zeppelin, city and colour (yay for acoustic guitar), killswitch engaged..and so on and so on...i like 'good' music. I'll dabble in country, haven't had much exposure to it...there are definately songs i can't stand...but i like a good mushy love song*swoon*. I love going to see live shows...and I often need a show buddy! (hmmm hmmm? wink wink nudge nudge)


I dance competitively and have been doing so since i was 3 ish as my mom owns a dance studio (yay free lessons for life!). I now teach dance as well as compete and take classes and I will make sure dance is always a part of my life.

I'm not particularly girly , I don't have a purse (just a place for junk to collect), I dont like shopping 90% of the time, I dont wear designer anything (does walmart count? hehe jk) - I do like to look nice though but in what I like to wear.

But...I like to have nice hair, and I like anything mushy and gushy(is this a real word?)...definately a hopeless romantic = the uber girly side of me.
I'm definately a giver but I dont allow people to take advantage of that.
I'm going into my 6th year at UBC (lol) majoring in sociology with a minor in English. I plan to go into the education program once i get my BA and then off to teach the highschool brats hehehe. (apparently I LOVE school so much I'm going to be there foreverrrrrrr :P )

I have 15 piercings (just got the 15th) and three tattoos (yay for new one), mom says i shouldnt let sewing machines run me over any more... :D

What I'm looking for? I'm not really 'looking' so to speak because I believe it will find me..whatever 'it' is. :P But if i had to write a little paragraph about it (ta da) I would say I'm looking for someone who is honest and open, who is up for communicating. Someone who likes to be goofy and have fun but knows the right time to be serious. I have no patience for double standards or excessive jealousy. I despise cheaters and won't be in a relationship where I am not trusted. I will go out of my way to make sure they have no reason not to trust me. I want someone who loves a good cuddle but who doesnt mind a good arm wrestling match here and there (although im not strong....humour me i like to try lol).

So far I have had some "interesting" luck with men in my life, experiencing pretty much every aspect of bad dating and unfortunate relationships however I have no regrets and I am glad for everything I have been through because I have learned so much about myself and what I want/deserve.

It's tricky, I found that since I'm pretty nice and I get along with most people, the potential of a good connection is pretty good but, I know now I really have to hold out for the deeper connection and not get attached to something superficial.

As a basic explanation I want a mental, emotional, and physical connection with someone. Has to be all three. Someone who can be my best friend that I can have adventures with, plus all the romantic awesome stuff. Non serial killer…preferably. No pessimists or downers….I live relatively stress free and I’m happy most of the time so I want someone who fits in well with that. No serious drug habits (or non serious ones..?)Someone motivated and goal oriented. Just over all awwwwwwesome. Lol.
