About Me
I am a recent widower. All this is very new to me, so excuse me if I don't know exactly what to say. First of all I'm a very honest straight forward person. I enjoy having fun with people and try to treat them the way I would want to be treated. I have four dogs to keep me company. Two Chi's that were my wifes and my two others are a Jack Russel and a Dacshund (?) No spell check here....LOL We go walking first thing every morning and late in the evening. They won't poop inside the fenced yard....so they will get me up every morning and tell me it's time to go...so I don't need an alarm clock. I live on a 120 acre Family estate that gives me great pleasure and privacy. I have peach trees, pear tree, fig tree, Plum tree and a 5 acre Pecan orchard that my Grandfather planted. Some of the trees still produce heavily...but other are beginning to look bad and dying out. Oh well...I got tired of picking up Pecans long time ago anyway. I own two homes, one of which was built in 1907 and belonged to my Grandparents. I'm hoping to restore it and perhaps turn it into a Bed & Breakfast....just a thought. I have two grown Children and Five Grandkids......They like to hang out with grandad because I have pool, hot tub, horse, four wheelers, dirt bikes, computers with high speed internet....woo hoo.....did I spoil them or what....LOL They miss there Grandmother terribly....so I try to do the best I can....evn though I still have to clean up their mess.....LOL
I live a laid back lifestyle and don't care much for life in the fast lane. I have most everything I need or would want right here at my disposal. I like to listen to all types of music ...except Rap. I colect old bottles, indian artifacts, antiques, coins, Interesting Junk and even a pretty rock....lol I have a large work shop....right now it's filled with junk....but i use to enjoy wood working. Restoring cars and trucks. I really want to find an old Ford roadter and build a Hot Rod.

 | John is an amazing man. I tried to write a testimonial earlier, but it got deleted. Let me give it another shot. This is one unique indivual. Real, honest, a master of it all. Witty, serious, sensitive, thought- provoking, smart. He is all that and more. A man of his word, of action, not just talk. Incredibly fascinating, a fixer of material things and of hearts. Compassionate, determined, rare, unlike the average, passionate, and extermely desirable.

 | THIS MAN IS A WONDERFUL PERSON...I MET JOHN WHEN POF HAD THEIR GET TOGETHER AT CADILLACS...I WAS NOT EVEN GOING AND SOME FRIENDS TALKED ME INTO IT...I HAD LOST MY BETTER HALF ALMOST 2 YEARS EARLIER AND I MET JOHN AND HE GAVE ME THE STRENGTH TO DO THE THINGS I USE TO...I AM PROUD TO SAY THAT I HAVE MET A VERY GOOD FRIEND, AND I TREASURE HIS FRIENDSHIP HAS SOME HEALING STILL TO DO AND I UNDERSTAND FOR I HAVE WALKED IN HIS SHOES AND I AM THERE FOR HIM LIKE HE WAS FOR ME BFF.. |
 | I met John at a recent POF get together on his property...he was a wonderful host...and I found out...a great guy toohe's taking the first steps to getting back out in the world of SINGLE AGAIN.it takes time to get through tough times in ones lifebut this one won't last longhe might not realize it...but people like him...are rare. |
