Originally from Chicago I moved here about 15 years ago. I try to go back "home" twice a year to visit family. I am a single mom of two great kids! My life is pretty well balanced with tennis, work, kids, and social time. When I grow up, I want to own my own business. I have different business ideas and I plan to pursue one of them and work for myself one day. I am currently a teacher in Forsyth County and enjoy my job. People would describe me as outgoing and personable once I get to know you. I am extremely loyal and protect my family and friends. I have always been pretty good at reading people and being able to put myself in their shoes. I consider myself to be a sensitive and caring person. My humor is a little (ok, alot) sarcastic. My friends tell me I can deliver bad news in the best way and make the person think it's really not that bad. Maybe I should be in sales? Lastly, my taste in music is across the board. Black Eyed Peas, Sinatra, REO, Kid Rock, Dr. Dre, JT, Pink, Journey, Andrea Bocelli, lots of 80's hair bands, classic rock...but not much country.

A first date can be anything from coffee to dinner, theater or watching live music. I'm pretty open to most first date ideas unless they are dangerous, illegal or involving going out of town. Oh yeah, no sleepovers on the first date!
