I'm a bit new to this online stuff, but I had a friend recommend the site, so I figured I would give it a shot and see what happens.

I was raised on a farm and came to thunder bay for school in biology. (yes, that's a pet duck on my shoulder.)

I made alot of friends along the way, many of which have graduated and dispersed so I've got more of an open schedule these days. I'm interested in meeting new people, and pretty much go with the flow of things from there. Frisbee and the occasional party are wonderful pass-times. I'm easy going and relaxed, if friends want to hang around they just call and come over. The more reasons i have to get out of the house, the better.

General interests include beer and nachos, walking, movies, video games (smash bros. etc.), catch, some cycling and a wide variety of other things. I can listen to and enjoy almost any kind of music, the playlist ranges from megadeth to jimmy buffett. If I don't enjoy the music I can at least appreciate it.

I do tend to stay active and walk/bike around alot, cooking is an occasional skill too.

Hangout status can be open ended. i'm not actively looking at this point, but that doesn't mean there's no interest.

Coffee would be good for a start for meeting people. Maybe a movie, pool, a walk, a picnic (indoor these days), a night in with movies and wine, some kind of festival, nachos and beer, sledding, snow ball fights, or whatever seems like a good idea at the time. I like a relaxed and casual atmosphere. I'm open to a long list of possibilities, and spontanious hangoutery is never a bad thing.
