What am I looking for? Well three basic things I guess. 1st I want a partner. The partner is the one that you make choices with, business kind of things, from what water heater to buy when it gos out to where is the best place to go on the family vacation. Things I can but don’t want to do on my own. The way I look at it we all made it to our respective ages on our own and both have made life chose good and bad. Let’s use all of those experiences to do better. 2nd is a friend, friends are the ones that never leave, you can not talk to a friend for years but if they are a true friend it seems and though you just talked yesterday, you just pick right back up were you left off. 3rd is a lover. A partner can come and go, that’s never been truer than if the choices made go bad. Friend might never leave but they do vanish from time to time. But if you have all three and you have love for each other that will be the glue to hold everything together. Love is the willingness, friendship is the understanding, and the partners will find a way to make it work. In short I want forever.

Maybe I’m naive, maybe I want too much, and maybe I’m just dumb. But that is what I want. I want to add that I work retail and so I see couples all the time and the ones I want to be and the ones I like to see are the ones that hold hands…I want to be the one that has the love by my side walking hand and had.
