Hey, my name is Leland. I'm a student at UBC finishing up my third year in Cognitive Systems. I work in the summers and all that good stuff.

I'm very active, love skiing, swimming and biking the most. In the summer I bike everywhere and I love the beach and getting a righteous tan! partly kidding lol.

I read a lot. At UBC I took almost all the lit courses they have before I settled on cognitive systems. My favorites are the Russian authors, especially Dostoyevsky and Tolstoy who together I call Tolstoyevsky. I want to be a writer. I'm writing a novel about people who are self delusional and the movie rights alone are going to make millions! I kid, its a joke, I'm not writing that, but I do have this project that I've been thinking about for years to do with physics and time and consciousness that I'm really excited about. I'm going to finish it before summer and I'd love to tell more about it.

I also make a special kind of jewelery that I'm hoping to sell this summer. I make bracelets and necklaces etc but I'm working on some new projects which involve making silver 'fabric' to be put into clothing.

I'm basically a pretty nice guy looking for a really fun do anything kind of girl. I love science and I love the arts. I'm nerdy(star trek etc) but also athletic and tough. I'm full of what seem to be contradictions. I love to laugh and joke and have a good time. I'm zany, eccentric, passionate, smart, honest, indominable, manly and sensitive, artistic, strong, reliable, etc etc and so much more. Lets chat!
