I'm a 32 year-old educated and sarcastic male - which means I can carry a conversation and make jokes (at the same time). Please know how to laugh. However, if you're high maintenance and enjoy drama please look elsewhere. I'm on this site because a woman I work with kept telling me about it so I finally buckled and decided to check it out. Who knows? Perhaps it will work. Born and raised on the East Coast (New Jersey), I have a habit of speaking my mind; I don't play games...hopefully, you do not, either. My musical taste is established bands - primarily classic rock but I have a fondness for the blues and jazz, too. I enjoy sports, movies, reading, writing, and trivia. I'm extremely competitive...a trait I admire in the opposite sex.

First dates are important for getting to know someone. Although I'm a movie buff, I think seeing one at the theater is a terrible first date because you have to sit in silence for two hours. I prefer dinner and/or drinks on the initial meeting because it gives you the opportunity to talk and get to know one another and realize then and there if you want to sit in a dark theater with them in the future.
