I lead a pretty average life on the outside, but my mind is a circus of activity. I am self-sufficient, independent and have a steady job. I'm a double threat ~ I can cook AND handle power tools! I am also a deep thinker who enjoys learning about whatever sparks my interest. My hobbies are "temporary obsessions". I believe that passion and humor are necessities in life. They keep things interesting. I also place a very high value on sincerity and truth. My weakness is my sense of smell. I am horribly distracted and hypnotized by anything that smells good, including men's cologne (Drakkar Noir, Cool Water...I'm a goner).

I'm petite, chunky with curves, fair and freckled. I have a rich Irish & Cherokee heritage, and a famous psychic for an ancestor. Does that mean I'm gifted? Guess you'll have to find out! I have great respect and appreciation for natural beauty. I love all kinds of music from smooth jazz, swing and classical to industrial rock, 80's pop and 70's punk and enjoy reading urban fantasy and crime/detective novels. I also make my own natural stone jewelry and have an ongoing fantasy realm project. And yes, I have a pet - a cat. I'm a cat person.

I have never been legally married or arrested, and no one has ever had to take out a protection order against me ~ bonus, right? I have no children of my own, but I'm an aunt to 14. I have a theory about why I'm still single...it's because I want the person I marry to be the one I stay married to for the rest of my life, and I think he ran off and married the wrong girl!

All I really want is to share a life and home with someone that "gets" me and vice versa. I judge what I see in a person's eyes and hear in the sound of their voice. Either the chemistry is there or it isn't. It isn't about looks, money or status, but it really helps if you can support yourself. What I'm drawn to: Humor, sarcasm, passion & intensity, intelligence, conviction, stability, honesty, and er...Scorpios. I admit I have a weakness for tall men, deep voices and nice hands, but it's not what I actively look for. If you think you can handle me, drop me a line. I don't bite. Ideally, the more unconventional and informal the better - I like getting to know people in their element and vice versa.
