I enjoy watching football. Haven't been to a live sports game in over 15 years, I think I could get excited at most any sports game involving a ball!! Actually, I know I could get into a roaring engine too!! Love playing music trivia-nothing like a nostalgic jukebox!!
I love long drives, perferably with some one to enjoy with me. Climbing a mountain, swimming in lakes and rivers when it's warm, sitting outside with the bright stars shining and enjoying a fine wine w/good company, camping, walks in the rain, watching eagles soar, boating, hot springs, candles and a fire in my fireplace. Love outdoor concerts!! Enjoy hanging out at home too. Did I mention I love roses-I must have 50 roses bushes in my yard!! There isn't much I don't enjoy except being really cold and having to do everything by myself!! At the crossroads of life-I'm free to do anything I set my mind to do-just need to figure out what that is!! So much to see and do. I have a good career, same company for over 24 years, two wonderful daughters, 24 & 20, a grandson who is 3, and another grandson just arrived!! Being a grandparent is a parent's second chance to do the right thing!! Family is extremely important to me!
I've come to realize that I want a partner to go through the rest of this life with!! I like to start slow, friends, dating, etc. I'm not high maintance, been self-sufficient for a good number of years!! I am very passionate in what I care about-my children, my work, the man I love, (that order because I don't have a man right now)!! I'd like to find a man who enjoys passion, romance, creativity, and family. Hoping that man has ambition,spontaneity, honesty, devotion, faithfullness, loyality, and compassion. Okay, so if you're not a spontaneous person, I can take lead, just need you to roll with me!!! Oops, there came that word "need"! Well, that's the way it is!! Then, let's go dancing and see the world together!!
I'm finding that I have changed my philosophy on life a bit. I'm laughing more often, louder and harder, not as critical of myself and others, and learning to not regret what made me smile!!
Music seems to be my best form of communicating!! When I just can't find the right words to say, there's always a song!! Love Classic rock-Joplin, Doors,Fleetword Mac, soft rock, oldies, country,Motown, and discovering some new easy listening lately!! Can't get into the rap, but can anyone our age?

Meet for coffee, lunch or dinner for a first date would be good. Or a Sunday in the park listening to a band. But really, it depends on the person and the factors involved.
