I'm a 55 yr old 5'4" blue eyed blonde with an hour glass figure w/extra sand in the bottom (think Mae West and Miss Piggy...that goes for personality too, lol). I'm out going and I love to laugh. I'm employed as a purchasing agent, the perfect job for me. I get to talk on the phone and go shopping with someone else's money. What is not to LOVE about a job like that? I was born to do it.

I love to dance, anything from the stand and wiggle stuff done in the clubs to ball room competition. Latin dance is my favorite, salsa anyone?... but absolutely NO COUNTRY! I love shopping, arts & craft shows, and spending time with my animals (2 dogs & 3 cats) and friends. I'm a beach bum at heart and an avid shell collector. I love day trips and weekend type get away vacations to anyplace new (and some old favorites). But my idea of roughing it is a hotel with no room service (camping is out of the question). I love hunting for "treasures" of all kinds. My treasures can be as varied as a silly souvenier from a road side junk shop to a piece of original art from an art show, a pretty sea shell (especially if its a type I've never found before), an interesting rock (or gem stone!), or a photograph that truly captures the memory of the day. I recently learned to facet gem stones and I've rediscovered an interest in photography. I can hold my own in a hot game of Scrabble or Pinochle and I'm a Monopoly fanatic. But you should know right up front that I'm not into motorcycles (if you ride, don't expect me to come along), I have no interest in most professional sports, I usually fall asleep in front of a TV (most of it is boring) and I hate to cook (if it takes more than 6 minutes in the microwave I lose interest). If you are looking for someone to cook for you while you lay on the couch watching sports, you've got the WRONG girl! If you are a hunter, I'm NOT interested. I don't want anyone who kills animals for "fun".

I'm searching for a dance partner /travel companion / best friend to share adventures and get silly with. You MUST dance with me but you don't have to be good at it. Just have a basic knowledge or be willing to learn and have lots of fun with it. Hopefully you will be equally comfortable in a suit or tux as you are in more casual attire at a salsa club. You should be easy going and out going with a big smile and a great laugh. If there is a big grin, a great laugh and a hint of devil in the eyes I can't resist

The first date could be as simple as meeting for a drink but going out dancing would be ideal. I think what we do and where we go will depend on the distance traveled and the location we meet. I love to play tourist (even close to home) so maybe a local attraction would be a good place to start. Perhaps we can meet for one of the free concerts in the park or at a local art show.
