Hi! I am a single mother to a wonderful teenager. I love to laugh and talk, and am also a good listener. I love to spend time with family and friends. I am a Christian, and try to go to church every Sunday. It helps me get through the week a lot of times! However, I am not a goody two shoes... I still love to have fun! :) I guess I am more of a "city girl", in that I love to be close to the stores and restaurants, but I also have a little country girl in there, too. I love a night out on the town, but I am just as happy curling up in front of the tv (or fire, whatever the case may be), and cooking together is also something I enjoy. I pretty much get along with everyone. I love to travel, and the beach is my favorite destination, although I am always up for something new! I know that a lot of you guys are very much into outdoors and sports. I enjoy the outdoors, but it's more fun when you have someone to share it with. I am always open to trying new things, too. So if you are passionate about something, teach me about it, and I would love to join you! For example, if you are a workout buff, I would love to participate with you. I actually have started recently, and am excited about getting back into the swing of things. I am always up to the challenge of improving myself, either intellectually, creatively, or physically. I am in the process of changing my lifestyle into a healthier one, and I feel great! But I am happy enough with myself that I am not going to obsess over things like weight and muscles. You can strive to improve yourself without hating yourself in the process. :)
**ADDED OCTOBER 2009: I have seen lots of great profiles on here... but haven't had much luck in people responding if I send them a message. I think that it takes a lot of guts for someone, either male or female, to step out of their comfort zone and send an email to someone they might be interested in, especially when it's someone they have never met. For that reason, (plus the fact that I kind of enjoy doing things the old-fashioned way from time to time and appreciate a gentleman) I am leaving it up to you.
