I'm a geek. Some can see this as a bad thing. I don't. I know who I am and what makes me unique. I don't make apologies for it and instead wave my banner high and proud. That is what a geek is to me. I am also not so simple that I can be fully explained with words such as this profile. I am much more complicated and very much a contradiction (I like to look at it as more yin and yang).

I can be sarcastic, witty, playful, laid back but also serious, thoughtful, tender and caring. I enjoy playful teasing (which I also see as flirting but not entirely) and want a woman that will give it back. But I also know when it doesn't have a time or place and instead I need to give a hug or hold a hand.

I have been told by quite a few friends that I have a very east coast personality even though I have never lived there and only visited once in my life. I take what they say to mean that I am direct, honest, loyal, call it like it is and sometimes a little louder than I should be at times *wink*. I want the same in a partner. Of course that doesn't mean I am rude nor should she be.

Who am I looking for? That isn't so easy for me to put into words. She will be a woman that not only gets me but at times doesn't get me but still loves me no less. She should have some sarcasm or at least be able to appreciate it. She is witty, open-minded, flirty, tolerant (of others), expressive, honest, loyal, compassionate and nice with a touch of bad girl tossed in for good measure.

Although I have listed some of the traits I think she will have, I don't know in what combination she will be made up with them. Only by meeting and getting to know you can I see if you have the right combination that allows the fire inside me to be ignited.

With all that said, I am not interested in meeting a woman that smokes or does drugs. If she can't respect herself and her own health then she can't expect others to respect her. Also if you have kids then we probably aren't a good match as I am wanting my own kids. And lastly please make sure you have some photos, if not on your profile then at least attached to a message.

I'm not looking to send messages for a long time. I prefer to quickly meet face to face (at the VERY least on the phone) to see if there is any chemistry before we end up knowing one another's life stories!

Something low key and not too loud so we can get to know each other better. Drinks of some kind or dinner is fine for the first meeting. Just so we can see if there is any chemistry in person.
